Hill Descent supplies an earth to Pin 36 of the ABS/ESP module. It applies to modules with steering and yaw sensors, so I suppose ESP only…

well ...... i've just checked out the steering column .. it has the sensor on ze column! not sure if/how i can check for the yaw. Many Thanks for that info ..... i also checked out the blanked switches spot .... has one plug there so i will look closely at the relevant wiring diagrams. Ps. have checked out the wiring loom/Commodorenutt's manuals ...... it 'appears' i have the loom for the hill descent .. Quote:
i presume i will have to pull apart the ABS wiring plug to check for this earth/pin 36 to verify the above then yes?. Last edited by mad2; 15-04-2024 at 06:03 PM. |

The brake module plug has tiny numbers on the end pins of each row. See if 36 is populated on the harness side and on the actual module.
If so, try buzzing it out from the blanked off switch connector. Good point, your area isn’t exactly mountainous. |
