Hey guys, any ideas why the hazards will turn on by themselves without releasing the hazard button behind the steering wheel? And they continue to run while driving until the car is switched off...can anyone help me out? Car is a 1999 fairlane v8 Thanks

Hi. Could be an alarm that has only had the siren and immobilizer removed or bypassed. A battery disconnection could still arm the system and turning on the ignition then triggers the alarm making the blinkers flash. Cheers MD
