Default E-series Day Cruise 7/5/06 Feedback Thread

The weather held up for us which was great, good turnout, i counted 26 cars at Chirnside Park and i think there was 25 at Maroondah Dam.

Day cruises are good as well getting to see cars in the light.

I saw heaps of camera's out so there should be heaps and heaps of photos.

Thanks to the organisers for another great cruise!!

good cruise, even though my PS belt came off twice and finnally snapped and tangled itself around the fan. :O I would have come to the final meet point but i was a bit over it by that stage.

I'll put some pics up later.

Kenaz, Damo, gthofan, needforspeed, greerz_92_EB, and myself all ventured home after the maroondah dam stop off. Thats when Damo had the belt probems.

Good cruise guys. Nice turnout considering the crap weather this morning, but luckily it held off for us.

Thanks to Joe (-jjM-) for the maps - great job once again mate
Simon (OZFORDAU) for the initial idea and planning. The cruise wouldn't have happened if it was for your idea, so thumbs up there mate.
And everyone else that attended, great job guys.

looking forward to the pics

It was a pretty good cruise, I can't believe the weather though, I was in bed and it was very windy and raining, had a shower then went outside and the sun was out! Then as I walked in the door when I got home it started raining again :S!

CHeers to the organisers for the cruise.

PS Simon I still can't believe your OZFORDAU!!!

The cruise was great. It was good fun and it was great to see everyone again and meet some new people. The cruise was well planned out and I can't believe our luck with the weather.

Damo, I saw you had the bonnet up. Damn power steering.

I'll post up photos after I get around to blanking out the number plates.

Talking Awsome Day......

Good turn out, awsome day! Fun had by all!

Well done and great effort everybody who made the effort! The weather was good to us! It did rain but not whilst we were at our stops!

Although it did rain at the last stop but there were only a couple of us at Cardina Dam but still it was time to go cause it was getting bloody cold!

Thank's everyone! Now i know what to do for the next cruise haha! :king:

Big thanks to -jjM- for the maps & AdzELXR for the help! Couldn't have done it without you guys! :

Cheers

Yeah, can't wait for Alex's photos.

And who saw the VW Beetle ute? It was ... different.

Anyway thanks Simon and Joe for your individual parts in organising the cruise.

It was a great cruise, but bloody cold! The weather always seems horrible but the skies always open up for us! Except at the end at cardinia, must be mother nature's way of telling us to go home...

I'm still uploading my pics to the PC, it's been going for 20 mins now and only half way lol

It was a great day, the hail held of for most of it.

Sorry we didn't catch up with you guys, DCStraight and I decided to look for some photo op's whilst in the area. Found some good places. As were got close to Cardinia everyone was leaving! We were 1.5 hours late!!

I went through $85 worth of fuel too.

Great day and thanks to the organisers.

Here are my pix!

Thanks to everyone for turning up with the dismal weather, deffinately a great cruise.
Trip from maroondah dam park to cardinia dam park was the best part, bit of twisty roads deffinately a change from the usual city drives
Loads of pics should be around, mine are here:

www.deleted link/pics/cruises/cardinia

THanks to OZFORDAU, AdzELXR and jjm for their time and effort, job well done.

It was good. The volvo made the day quite interesting, with some of its finer moments. Glad that cardinia made it in, good long drive to it, good times there and at all the points.

Sorry to hear about your Belt Damo, wondered who that was that pulled up limp at Maroondah.
