Speaking of guns, school cadets. A open air firing range down behind the basketball courts and we took our guns home on the bus for cleaning before various displays. Hilariously unthinkable now.

...renovate a house without having to worry about whether the materials inside could potentially kill you. Or not having to worry about getting in a professional to suit up, wrap the house in plastic and pay them a fortune just coz you wanted to demolish that wall.

Owned for years and later restored but ended up donating it the the bicycle museum in Canberra. (Speedwell 3 speed Sturmey Archer)

Still have a collection of Matchbox King series trucks and cars. These were the larger size. Includes a Kellogs bedford grain semi and trailer, a transport dog and trailer (can't remember the manufacturer), Jaguar police car and motorbike, etc

Stored away with my Lima HO size XPT and s-class diesel loco set.

My daughter didn't play with them much, but maybe one day she'll have kids that play with them.

haha dragsters, originally we considered it a girly bike - tassels on the handle grips - sorry rok.
Then we put extended forks on them and cut down the rear sissy bar
Very harley look.
Talking Remember when - having a pedal slip falling down on the top bar, not good, no not good at all ouch !

Still got many of my childhood Matchbox cars too, but how about a shout out to the Remember when there were grandpas quite happy to knock up a wooden service station in their shed for us to use with our Matchbox cars.

If you zoom in to that pic, you can see one made by my old man, he was an upholsterer with access to tons of timber frames.


get wax cardboard boxes for our vegies.

buy from Mum and Pops vegie stores.
or the corner milk bar.

Didn't it also have a line about being loyal? Per my memory of two different primary schools:
