Thumbs up Ford Donates $100K and Auction a New Mustang..Pink Ribbon Day

To celebrate Pink Ribbon Day, we're proudly donating $100,000 dollars to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Plus, we’ll be auctioning a new Ford Mustang later this year to raise funds for vital research projects to improve the health and wellbeing of those affected by breast cancer.

Good on you Ford and for all the people that kick the Sh out fo Ford marketing this wins hands down as it achieves two things. Firstly donating to a good cause, secondly free advertising through social media priceless. Let give credit where credit is due as theirs more to advertising than TV adds.

A good move by Ford, but it's a pity they didn't do something similar in the Prostrate Cancer area (Blue Ribbon September), as a Mustang auction would be appeal more to the Male population.

The FPV GTF001 and FPV GTF500 were also auctioned off for National Breast Cancer Foundation - Prostrate Cancer isn't on the radar with Ford :(

Unfortunately men's health isn't well publicised, whether the public don't see it as an issue of importance comparatively or its something men don't want to discuss. Either way I think more should be done to combat health issues like prostate cancers.
Movember is one good initiative.

Last time I tried to donate money to breast cancer research they refused my donation, instead they were wanting my credit card details to take a minimum monthly donation instead...
I used to always donate to breast cancer research until this happened, they are in no position to be getting too greedy and picky with how much they accept.

Good on ford though.
