Default Motor Show (Adelaide) 2005

So who went to the motor show in Adelaide this year?
I went on sunday with my brother in-law and it was the first time I had been. The Ford stand was Tops, got to sit in a GT for the first time and a new Fairmont Giha. The XR8 Devil-R by Ambrose was sweet, pitty you could'nt sit in it. I was blowen away (need more girls though). Well I'll be going next year, can't wait. :hihi:

Ford did put on a reasonable show, one of the better ones IMO. The Ford GT was fantastic and the FPV's were very accessable unlike the HSV's (standard Clubby and a Maloo) which were locked :(. Have to say side by side the FPV's are a much nicer thing as well.

Was there a BMW or Mercedes stand this year? People told me there wasn't a Merc, BMW or Porsche in sight..? Is this for real or not!?

If so it is a bloody disgrace! In Melbourne you could sit in cars that are worth more than houses such as the AMG range. Thats what you pay $16 for, not to go to a fancy car yard to look at the new Magna or Avalon!

Default Black Super Pursuit

If anyone has a picture of the black ute that was at the show could you please put it up, as I have just ordered one and would love to see one, as I have to wait until July before I get it. Thanks
Dean

Yes i went to the motor show for 1 reason, to see the Merc stand. When I noticed it wasnt there, well....Severly dissapointed. The Adelaide show is **** poor.

Wasn't all that thrilled with the motor show. Watching the holdens f^ck up on the 4wd test track was amusing. Some people gave some of those cars a right beating.
Saw a few people pointing out VERY poor panel fit/line up on that light blue monaro.

I went. Compared to the Melbourne Motor show which I have gone to every year since 1999, I have to say that it definately wasn't as good. There was no Ferrari, no merc, bmw and no porsche. Very dissapointing. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as the Melbourne motor show, and it wasn't, but inline with how I operate, I always expect less so I don't get dissapointed. So as it stands, the adleiade motor show wasn't as bad as I expected, but needless to say I wasn't overly impressed either. Still, I'm glad I went just the same.
