Default underbody protection... for an EL

hey all, was reading the 'Territory' section just before when something went "twang" in my mind...

I'm about to get the EL lowered, and i'm worried about ground clearance (well, not that worried :P)

I wonder if a skid plate could be made up - one thats strong enough to take a pounding as a couple of my mates have crappy dirt driveways... could be fun :P. What would you need to cover/protect?

What do y'all reckon?

The main items i found to scrape would be 1 the cats, 2 the muffler.
