I've now joined the generals side, but I've never been a part of the Newcastle car scene much. I was just wondering if you guys had heard if any local Holden or all car clubs in your travels?[/QUOTE]

I don't think so main reason is they can't keep up on cruises, kidding I'm not sure

We just came back from Thailand. Nice country... too many shops though, and electrics prices are insane.

Seriously, we need an all cars club just to get decent numbers up here. Everyone seems to want to look at their cars, not drive them......

Every time we do organise a cruise a while bunch of people don't show and we either call it off or go with 2-4 cars. Then people complain about there not being any cruises or they don't like where we decide to go, no matter how open to suggestions we make it. I've given up.

I just had a thought, Ryan is up this way with an VY or VZ SS (cant remember which). You'll find him lurking around in the V8Supercar posts in the Pits and has two threads that I can remember in the non-Ford rides section. He was from, memory, looking to join a group who go cruising with their Commodores.

If you find one let us know, we could tag along one day...
