Yeah 20 odd years ago Australia was set up well enough to be able to be totally self sufficent, but now all the manufacturing and technology has all been scrapped or sold off to overseas interests, now we are almost totally dependent on others(Asia)for everything we need.We are now even importing all sorts of foodstuffs, something we should NOT be doing because we can produce any food we need plus some

Did a small 17L fill up over the weekend when P98 was $1.94/L. Heard on the news that fuel prices was gonna go up this week so I thought I'd save a few bucks.
Same fuel stop now has P98 @ $2.36/L, so I saved about $7, thats 2x coffee's worth. Winning lol.

My location Hoppers Crossing.
I prefer to use the majors, only cos I have this perception that they will maintain their facilities to a better standard than the indies. So as far as majors go, sleven seems to be the fairest. In my area, they tend to be the last to go up, sometimes by a week or two, and will be quick to come down. The 3v seems to run the best on Mobil 98 and Ampol 98, but Ampol pricing can be hit and miss. Shell is the worse when it comes to pricing. BP somewhere in the middle.

91 ULP in Brizzy going from $1.74.9 up to $2.14.9 at many places today after new deliveries.
I wonder if petrol and diesel become same price - $2.25 to $2.35….or maybe higher?

Paid $2.40/L for diesel today central VIC.

Puts my Focus at 0.15c/km for the last fill at the moment.

Averages are very old so ignore those, they are based on old prices.

Filled up about 5 times in the last 2 weeks, mostly half fills. Have managed to avoid paying anything over 2.19 for 98. In fact, this morning was the highest, $2.19 at BP :( Hurts watching the numbers tick over so fast on the bowser.

Costco out in Moorrabbin still showing $1.85 for 98. Unless they are subsidising their fuel prices from membership fees, then its clear the other servos are taking everyone for a ride.

Anyone know what the procedure is to fill up at a Costco? Its always packed so I've never bothered. Do you just scan your card or do you have to pre pay or what?

1.79 for 91 for the last couple weeks out my way. 2.29 for diesel. The city slickers seem to get ripped for fuel. I was using my old diesel dual cab for most things but have switched to my petrol mazda6 now to try and save a bit.

Correct. Scan membership card, then nominate and pay with credit card for amount of fuel wanted. If you don’t then take the amount nominated, Costco credit the unused amount back onto your credit card.

Easiest option is to use an iOS device, last time I checked, the method for Android is too much hassle and even then, most likely won't work.

Here's some simple instructions to spoof your location for the 7/11 app on iOS:

1. Download iFakeLocation and extract to local folder: https://github.com/master131/iFakeLocation/releases/
2. Download and install iTunes so the iOS device has drivers
3. Plug device into computer, trust/allow PC from iOS device
4. Launch ifakelocation.exe from the folder you extracted it to, it opens a browser window to localhost
5. Go to https://projectzerothree.info/prices.php and find the best price in Australia for your fuel type
6. In ifakelocation, put the town down below where the cheapest fuel is and click search (best to use town/suburb and state name, i.e "Frankston VIC")
7. Click set fake location, it'll send a zip to the iOS device.
8. Open 711 app and lock in fuel, confirm it has found the correct price and lock it in
9. Close app, go back to ifakelocation and remove location spoof to set gps back to normal then exit the app.

Done, laugh all the way to the pump as you stick it to big oil.
