Mate, I had a very, VERY long reply to put up here, but I decided to put it into a short sentence instead: You are a bloody tough bloke, you seem very smart and confident in what you chose to do in your situation. Make the best of it now! I would drink a few beers, catch up with some friends, and play it all sweet.
You are single again, as if that doesn't feel awesome! So many people go through this kind of thing, but they don't turn out like you! I admire you! Seriously, you seem full of strength. I did exactly that, was told by a good mate to just live your life, we all went out, and met my current GF while we were out, and i havent been happier.

Ditto, Mate- I was in a similar situation with you...wish I had dumped ex (the cheat) and not the other way around in hindsight but oh well...Life most certainly went on and after a year and a half of pretty much doing my own thing- I met an awesome girl that never fails to make me smile. Have some time to yourself before jumpin back on the horse
