What would you need speeds that fast for anyway? I can download a movie in around 20 minutes. It reminds me of when Moe gets that deep fryer that cooks a buffalo in 40 seconds, 'but I want it noooow'.

You must have the ADSL plus to get that speed.
With ADSL2 plus you can double the speed for the same price. (My exchange came online last week.

Be aware that if your on a "Plus" plan and your not currently getting the full 8mbit speed, TwoPlus likely won't improve your speeds.

Hope yours goes through nicely FalconCoupe, unfortunately we have had a few teething issues with the transfers.

Well my ADSL Two Plus plan was meant to happen on the 1st of this month but no speed change. Called Internode apparently it was meant to happen on the 30th but no one turned up so Internode are following it up with Telstra. So maybe sometime mid next week my speed will change.

I'm surprised the ping rate dropped with adsl2 plus, they said it may increase up to 40 milliseconds.

It's gone from 36 to 21. Too easy.
