Yes it was a great car 10cents per KM around Melb. Went another EcoLPI... G6E 2012 mk2 this time with 39500km. One owner
As much as I wanted a FG mk2 G6ET I couldn't pass up the low kms.

Nice work mate! Decent sale price. AND you didn't have to put up with driving a brown 4 cylinder like Mr DK30RB hehe

Very nice car mate! The ecolpi's sure are a great engine. They have great punch off the line and so cheap to run.

These ecolpi's are prime fodder for bolting on a turbo.

I can't believe I haven't seen one yet.

Keep it in mind as a future project, it would be rare as hens teeth. And unbelievably fast!

Very , very nice...Classy in white too. Not the ecopli of course but there's a local here with a real dark grey original run petrol FG (don't know the official colour name) G6E . Roger bought it for his missus to replace a Nissan Maxima that gave them tons of grief from the engine management system to transmission several times.

They've had a few cars in his time a couple of Holdens and they rate the G6E as the best by far. Roger drives it a lot and put a set of tasty black alloys a while back .

The ecoPli engine from 2011 to 2014 was a cracker and yet another reason why the Barra was such a versatile and well engineered power plant . Should have sold more .
Too bad the rest of the Ford world missed out on the Eco Pli , , dual fuel , the Turbo and the N/A Barra . Their loss .
