You have to be joking, reread the rubbish you have posted and see what utter crap it is, and if you still don't know you're as dumb as you sound

It's the way stuff is written that is the offensive part, a guy has been in an accident, whether right or wrong, and you have the nerve to call him a brat when a family member of his is witness to what you write.

I can't understand how people would assume the car wasn't insured.

Pretty sure anything under finance is required to be insured.

Whether there would be factors on which an insurance company would refuse a claim is a different matter, and something no-one is in a position to qualify at this point

I can say conclusively that this car or it's owner will not be attending the WA T Series Cruise we had planned to do this Sunday.

I will however, be there.

It's still required for the term of the loan, but usually not checked by most lenders after the first year.

Well if everything else is clear, then no dramas ...... on that side of things.

Yep Apollo. Same as housing loans. It is required on ALL loan T&C's but never checked, well by most lenders anyway.

Being required to have insurance, and actually taking out insurance, are 2 different things.

It has been known for borrowers to take out a cover note to show to the finance company without actually following through by paying the premium. Stupid - yes, but it happens.

I am not in any way suggesting that this is what happened in this case.

Thanks for the concern guys, but the car was insured. As I said, it is the insurers decision on whether to pay or refuse a claim, and the factors that would influence that are beyond our control and I would suggest there has been nothing said or put forward in this thread that the interested parties would not already know or have thought of....

But I genuinely appreciate your concern

I am in mourning, the loss of another T series, and to all those who are preaching here without knowing the facts, Have you never made a mistake?
Get to know the facts before you blast someone.
I can guarantee that the guy who owns this did not want it to look like this.
If the speculation is right about him, i will also slam him, but until its known for sure, leave him alone.

Sorry Jim, the no insurance thing came from post #1 as below.

As for the speculation about speed. Hit a tree at about 80kmp/h and you'd be in for a hospital stay. Hit one flat out in a T3 you wish you'd be for a hospital stay.

I don't know how fast he was going but with the point loads trees and poles transfer you don't need to be going that fast to stuff a perfectly good car, the fact the the passenger cell is intact, doors working etc, suggests perhaps not as fast as a good story.

ouch. sad loss about the car, but lets be honest, not to say he DIDN'T deserve the car, becuase i'm sure he did treat it right and drive responsibly most of the time, but if he was indeed drinking and and this happened, he deserves whatever he gets.

jimt3te50, hopefully your bro in law is ok.

It's a shame to see a car like that in this condition but the loss of a life is worse...

Wow, talk about condeming someone without evidence
What if he was drinking, but blew .05, does he still desrve it?
Why dosnt everyone wait to see if he is charged with exceeding .05 before slaming the poor guy, he already has a deep loss in losing his TE

Sorry to hear Jim long as he is ok (sounds like he is) thats the main thing. You have to expect the passion form fellow T series owners after seeing that car. Even though im abit sick of mine those pics made me cringe. Hopefully you guys get everything sorted out and i with all other T series owners wish you guys the best.
P.S Goes to show how popular these cars are, 13 ppl viewing this thread and 5 pages in 1 day

t2te50- One more post like those found in this thread and you are gone no more chances.

What a shame.. I suppose its just one of those things that happens (although it could of been avoided).. At least the bloke is ok and escaped what could have been potentially worse (e.g. those 4 that were incinerated (sp?) in melbourne a couple of days ago)

So true and i apologise, as i said in the first post it happened out the front of my bosses house and recieved the information from him. As i said here and also in a PM to Jimt3te50 that i had no intention to humiliate you and your family. I can't speak for anyone else of course but as the thread starter i feel sort of responsible.
I'm glad you're not too injured and all the best.

Maybe its time for this thread to be closed?

We do not allow people to use the accounts of others.

While I realise the account owner is not at fault here as it appears some SMS obsessed relation has access to it, the account will remain banned until he gets in touch with us.

As to this thread, I see it going nowhere from here.
