that was Uraidla mike, we missed tanunda in favour of removing some of the lovely bogan-ness from my XE. man after seeing the pics from tanunda i'm Uber P.O. I didn't go.

Thumbs up Barbeque Bull Burgers

Thought I would share my Barbeque Bull Burger recipe, its not measurement specific, I just throw in that I consider looks about right! (I also use it for meatloaf, cook it in the oven, and add cheese to the top 20 mins before finished).
Ingredients:

Lean mince
Bacon pieces (Buy your own bacon and chop up, tastes nices than the pre cut peices you get at the Deli)
Chutney (I prefer the home made gear you get from markets)
grated Carrot
grated sweet potatoe
chopped Onion
Seasoning mix and/or Bread crumbs
Mixed italian spices or as you please
Garlick
Flour

Cook the bacon, onion, garlick till onion is caramelised/brown
Put everything in a mixing bowl, mix, and make your burgers
Roll in flour
Fry up till crispy

I note the seasoning contains 635 which is a combination of 627 and 631.

So it has MSG in it. That said I think MSG is great and if you dont have allegies to it, it can go so well in some dishes.

vik, you been drinking?
I agree MSG(monosodium glutimate) is a fantastic "flavor enhancer" but if you are allergic, ouch. Still, love it in the good old Asian takeaway !

When I moved outa home at 17 and started cookin for me self,I bought a wok,a bucket of MSG and a Chinese cook book...

I used to heat bacon rind and the fat in the wok till it was crisp and use the liquid bacon fat to cook in,eat the crispy bacon rind...
: : :

Then vegies,prawns,sherry mixed with ground ginger,corn flour,soy

when it was still to watery,a fist fulla MSG... : : :

vik...Which I quenched the thirst with beer...

I can't, my parents would do they're nut. But while you're in town, someone should throw a hand up for a cookup, few beers etc. I think it would be well received! I just wish I could use my house, as it's perfect, but parentals are dead against any kind of party unless they arrange it with their friends.
