Still got both stickers on mine, will take the orange one off before I take it out next but i'll definitely keep the AFF one on. At first I was sort of against stickers but once it was on I thought it looked very classy! Good job on them Rosco!

A great day out. A few good looking Cars in the AFF Display. I was hoping to catch up with Rastus but unfortunately I didn't.

Well done to the organisers.

Yep it was to hot and I was already sunburnt from day before so did not help ..
Had a look around the place and like always there was some great cars there but IMO I still think a street driven car is better .

Great photos everyone.

Now this is not a criticism, most people tend to take photos on modified cars rather and stock / original cars, I understand why, but as an owner of a stock / original car it is a little frustrating. I don't mean to distract from the great pics, I am just saying.

Nah - they take pics of cars they like - a few years back I took photos of all the eseries stock or modified

I also took photos of all the cars in our AFF Dispkay but my camera didnt like the heat and the colors are all wrong :(

There is at least 1 photo of every single car at the event here on facebook

I appreciate a nice modified street driven car...there's no point in a car that's got all the cosmetics and power but too scared to drive it on the road ...does nothing for me

Sorry I missed you Shane, you must've come past when I was wandering around for an while getting dehydrated! Damn it was a warm day. I got back, pulled up a chair in the shade, then didn't move out of the shade for a while.
I had a great day, so many nice cars. In our group, in the paddock proper, and in the car park too.
Special thanks to the FF people who organised our area, especially Sorted. Everyone was made to feel welcome, and the effort you went to was great.
Fancy even getting an award from the FF people too for the XY. Didn't see that coming.
Cheers everyone.

And congrats to everyone who recieved an award for their hard yakka, like Sparksy! (Shoulda got first place, no way was that AU better than yours!)

Thanks again for a great day everybody from AFF, it was well worth the drive down from Orange to put the wagon on display. My wagon and Dhru's AWD certainly drew plenty of comments during the day, surprising how many people asked when Ford produced RTV and AWD wagons. Congrats to the guys who got the AFF trophies especially Rastus (pity there wasn't a long distance award) maybe next year i'll bring down the ZC (factory 351 W) if i get it back on the road by then.

Wild TC had better interior and boot, so pretty sure that was the best. What did you judge?

Now now, thats not very nice. The owner of that car is actually on here.

The car is DAILY DRIVEN 600kms a week, so to take home the trophy 2 years in a row shows how well maintained it is

He wasnt being rude - he was expressing his opinion and after seeing his car I actually agree as his car is mint plus I am bias for the eseries shape rather than AU obviously

AFD is not a concours show and if it was then Sparlsy would have it in the bag

Mint car - lucky his grille, wheels and interior did not go missing when he wasnt there lol

Saying the car that won wasnt better than his is a bit rude IMO.

I saw his car too, LOVE FBT's, in fact, maybe it was my drool that lost it for him :P

I was actually looking at the categories and thought.. surely an FBT would be one of the highest rated cars in the late model fairlane category.

Last year there was a 'Best Tickford (Non GT)' category, which i guess things like FBT/Sprints and XR's would typically be entered in.

this year the Best Tickford Category was AU only, so the FBT is really the only 'collectible' type vehicle to his the late model fairlane category.

I'd like to include my thanks to everyone for making the AFD at Geelong really great !!

Sorry I couldn't catch up more with everyone.. I was kept a little busy with all the attention Mark & I were getting with his RTV Wagon & my FAWD... but it was great to be there on the day with the rest of the AFF members.... and it was great to chat to those of you I could get too !!

Greg & I made it back to Adelaide by midnight... so seeing as we got up at 5am, it was a long day... but a great day !

Thanks again !

Was a great day. Many, many photos.
Nicer location than Picnic at Hanging Rock (was dusty and uneven ground), but very hot...

I was with the Early Falcon Club. A nice day out.
