I konw exactly where your coming from plenty of last minute servicing and the usual air con and brakes. We are doing a Landcruiser head gasket not an ED lol. rather be doing an ED as it would be alot easier to work on.

Been flat out for the last 6-7 months really doing landscaping jobs, but this time of year is harder as you have to try and time how long jobs will take and whether we can finish them before this Friday. Looks like we will just scrape in, but the 13hr days the last 3 working days are taking their toll!

Very on and off at the moment. I work at a drycleaning place. Hopefully all our customer f off during Christmas week because I'm working by myself for the most part as my boss is going away!

The girl who works with us and is meant to help me out is really useless. In fact 99% of the time I work with her, I'd probably be better off by myself. So even if we're not busy, I'll probably still ending up working harder than I should have to. No she's not hot either :(

we are flat out finishing up odd jobs and finalising some of the bigger projects for the year. Being the new bloke and having been on forced holidays recently im out there full of enthusiasm, the other sparky's and security techs are just plain over it.

lucky for me i need the overtime. 3 days off Leave without pay due to not having any leave yet lol. Oh and i have to pay my pest man $2500 to do the chemical barrier for termites. Joy.

Same old, same old, every year... Engineering & machining business... EVERYONE wants their bloody stuff by Christmas!...
It's CHRISTMAS, not the end of the world.
You know what really gets up my snout though?... It's when you bust your boiler getting the job done, delivered etc by that magical day before "armageddon",
then rock up to the clients place on say, the 14th January and that same bit of gear that you sweated blood over is still sitting exactly where you dropped it off 2 weeks prior!

I'm doing design for electrical connections. Mostly LV connections - because I'm relatively new to the design process I'm only doing in line poles and single spans etc.

But work hasn't stopped for us, people still want electricity.

Only problem is, the people we're waiting on to do things, Survey a lot for example, have packed up. So people have to wait.

I work in printing and we've been flat out for the last few weeks trying to get stuff out the door. But for some reason everything goes dead in February. I won't get to see it next year because I will have quit by then.
