well after owning an XF, the same EA twice, an EL, a XB V8 and a 83 mazda 323 (exactly the same as a laser) i decided to step away from the blue oval for a bit,
went and bought myself a VX wagon, it was a good deal and i couldnt afford a BA, im extremly happy with it, and for the price of upgrade parts (SS bars etc) after market wheel options etc you cant go wrong, and being a wagon its extremly handy, hopefully that resale value will keep up a little bit most probably be keeping this one for a while, and looks so much better than an AU |

i got a VP calais, i wouldn't stray from fords, but i just wanted a cheap, reliable, gutsy, economical V8 so a holden 5L it was, but if i were to get a six it would be a EL 5 speed for sure.

Lancer Evolution IX
A completely different driving experience to a Falcon, and not necessarily a bad thing either. |

****, where to start:
BMW M3/M5 Nissan 200SX S15 Nissan 350Z Nissan R34 GTR VX HSV GTS Coupe 4 monaro Bugatti Veyron SL500 SL65 Mclaren Mercedes SLR etc, etc.............. The list seems to go on. I don't know what it is, but i will still continue to drive fords. But i love many different cars, and as said, even some Holdens. I never use to like any monaro's (not my style) but my old bosses car is a real mean machine. He has a coupe 4 with around 300kw at all 4 wheels. When he took me for a ride, i was in love with the way it went about delivering its power! |

For me, being a Ford man is realising that I won't ever fly high in luxury.
Why do I love Ford? Because I love the history, I love the fact that most other people only know and like Holden (many ppl I know who are more into cars than I have never heard of a GTHO or Cobra...I mean...wtf?) while I go against their primal instinct. I think Falcons have always looked pretty good (the AU was weird, but it isn't as bad as people think!). I think Mazdas are crappy, overrated crapboxes, Mercs and Beamers have lost their exclusivity, Toyotas are plastic bertron!. But here's a car I would like to own. The fascination started with Test Drive II on the Commodore 64. The link is: HERE! Been searching Carsales for an F40 for a long time, but got one. Now I'm waiting for a look at a 959. Once I get the money, a Ford will be the only car I will have (at this stage). Other cars have a more prestigious badge, better machanics and electronics and all that, but those cars don't have a cult following, as people buy them for the status, not the car itself. Fords carry a lot of heart. And it is my belief that you should buy a car for yourself. Not for others. |

how could you transport ladies of the evening around with such a small car. customers would laugh at you. and when a customer roughs up one of your ladies, where are you going to put his body? you cant hope hes a 4 foot midget so he fits in a liberty's boot. clearly a 4 door pillarless impale-her is a pimp's car. a liberty is a mediocre drug dealers car at best, but more likely to be owned by a bored white collar office worker. |

If you wanna fit bodies into the boot, get a Leyland P76. The car that was advertised that you could fit a 44 gallom drum in the boot.
That would equate to plenty of dead bodies or moderators...lol You just gotta put up with those cheezy looks of the car itself

The only two things that could tempt me away from beloved blue oval would be a 68 SS Camaro (again - had one up till 2 years ago) and Jessica Alba in a g-string bikini - I think I would even give up beer for her... SCHAAAAAAWING!!

God, why would anyone in thier right minds buy a WRX. They are horrible to look at, the interior is even worse, and they get thier asses handed to them in a straight line by anything with decent power, and around the corners by anything that is built even slightly for it. I've seen Peugeot 205 GTi's with 405 Mi16 engines in them run rings around them, both on and off the track, even 350 Chev powered Jags. They are fairly ****, and people cream thier pants over them. Some people need a reality check, and need to burn (with fire) the Fast and Furious DVDs.

theve been made popular due to there constant AWD and there status in todays entry level society. middle aged guys buy them and even sum chicks as well and "do them up" cause they think that there the be all and end all. i just want an XR8 to give it to one of them really bad.!

I'd never stray from Fords, every car I've owned has been Ford (5 so far)
But after driving my mates 400whp turbo DC2 integra for the last few weeks I'd def be open to a Honda and bolt a Turbo onto it |

I've owned Fords all my life but this year, when the time came to update the family car, Ford were simply nowhere in the running. They simply dont have anything to compete with a full sized family mover. So we got one of these instead and it was the best decision ever:
