Nice looking car and a great V8. Apparently it doesn't drive as well as an XR8 or SS though.

I think the biggest problem they have with the Lotus is trying to find two coppers with a stomach small enough to fit inside the thing. :evil_laug

Just came back from Melbourne and we saw a 300c cop car in geelong take off with its lights on. First time I had ever seen one.

They could do a re-make of the Blues Brothers, they have re-done just about every other movie form that era.

Any future "cop" film must have input from the Kings themselves, the Krispy Kremes......

Ah the pain when they set up not far from where I live/work

But I love the brake force distribution and anti-lock brakes of the Futura, most stable, confidence inspiring car I've ever braked hard in.

But for some reason we now have a unmarked Magna 380, still have to hear the low down on that piece of kit.
A couple of 380's running around Brisbane , filled with detectives so they don't count

being from melb I am flattered that the cops will go to such lengths.
what's next a dodge viper?

what's the diff between a female cop and a step ladder? not everyone has been up a step ladder!

I think you'll find it has been 'donated' for a period of time by Chrysler.

Reviving an old thread ......

While on holidays on the Gold Coast last month I saw an unmarked black 300c cop car. Dark windows, big rims etc, you would have a hardtime picking it as a cop car. Seem the WRX driver the cop had pulled over was fooled too!

That does look cool, but as everyone else has said- WTF!! First there is the new Hummer Cop cars for Melbourne and now a 300C. FFS, how about put the money to better use or at least buy a car from an aussie company and help the australian industry.

If the cops want to look flashy, how bout they start wearing pink shirts with their collars up!!

Start keeping an eye out for heaps of XR6 Turbo cop cars hitting the roads soon. V8's are out I think, they just can't sell them at auction when the're finished with.

they're sneaky up here, they also have an unmarked SRT8 Jeep GC they're running around in now..and they're thinking of replacing all the Land Cruisers with Hummers (not donated ones, actually buying them as proper police vehicles)
