8 cars deep and it's still always the first one: the one that got away (edit: the one that i stupidly let go).

Bought it off these forums in 2008, had it for 2 and a half years and loved it more than life itself. Factory 5 spd, clean as a whistle, took me to the ends of the earth and back. Sold it to a guy in Clare SA in July 2011, and never saw it again. Its always a sad day when the new guy takes the keys and drives away, but 8 years later, this one still aches.

It is unreal how people get attached to there car after all all it is a machine like the dishwasher or lawn mower we do not fall in love with them

but cars bring back memories first speeding ticket , how many Australian kids were conceived in the back of a panel van at the local drive or lake .

some of us spend a small fortune making it look special and look after it but I have seen the other side as well where people just jump in a drive there cars into the ground and never look after it.

I know a guy who buy a new car every 2 years he never looks after the car he begrudgingly take it in for its service

but they are rare breed most of us fall in love and cherish there cars from day one my ex wife said once if I gave her as much attention as I did my sigma she would not have divorced me

I was going to say some thing back but not worth the hassle

One of my more interesting vehicles...

This is not my P76, but the same model and colour. The hub caps on this vehicle are not P76 caps, and from the underside of the door line should be painted black for the full length.

The P76 was an amazing car but they screwed up and service and parts area if only they worked on the little things but in reality it was one of those rare cars that pop up every now and then

cars like the DeLorean
