Sure did, I would have thought the F6 and the Monaro to be about even around the track, looks like a the monaro thrashed it. I knew straight away the WRX was going to win that. Can't wait for next weeks episode, however the preview doesnt look good for the FPV... I reckon the corvette might take the 1/4 mile.

I think the Nissan 180 SX won just over the Rex..
Looks like the FPV broke a CV joint ??
Sash didn't sound too impressed either ...

i think the XY broke a tailshaft judging by the teaser at the end. that thing was an absolute beast - but that VK - woa...

The Monaro beat the FPV easily, basicly due to the fact that its set up and built as a track car whereas the FPV is driving around on 22's and basicly std suspension. Was a good episode though, good to hear Luff giving them pointers and tips while he's driving the cars.

The XY was a surprise for me, being a drag car I expected it to get killed on the track. 1.14 for the XY vs. 1.11 for the 180SX.

The WRX is a very neat piece of gear. As is the Corvette.

Actually the XY is very much a street car, it hasn't run the quarter yet with that engine combo.

I've been in it several times and it is a pleasure to drive and behaves very well on the roads.

It's the same car we will be driving across the country!

Loved watching Luffy powerslide that XY round the corners onto the back straight!

That WRX owned! And I'm not normally a fan of the stereotypical modified Blue WRX w/ Gold Subaru rims covered in livery plop.

Better than last year. Looks like a good mix of cars.

I wonder if the problems with the F6 brakes (air in lines) made much of a difference to the lap times.

It probly would off made some difference but you need to look at the competition to see were the real problem was.
Manaro - supercharged ls7 -dedicated track car
180sx - circuit car
wrx - well stock ther no slouch and at almost at rally spec well you sore it
f6 - is more more of a show car all though it hammers it not setup for the track

I reckon the XY would have had more in it if it didn't suffer from brake hop.

I know exactly how to fix the brake hop in that car; it has to do with the VSAL of the leaf springs being too short...

That F6 was sex but definitely isn't a track car maybe it will do better in other events. Not a fan of the Nissan or the Monaro. I expected the XY to do better but that VK Holy.... I am amazed you could get that much power off the line with no wheel spin.
