If we're heading East or North = Caltex
West or South = Shell

Don't know which fuel , the Mrs fills up the ED , : Whatever she buys , it gets us there & back .

(Note to self = Experiment with XB , I haven't driven it much in the last 18 months , maybe 120 k's .)

Only BP for me. Unless I'm down the coast where the alternative is Caltex. BP Ultimate rocks! I can boost it hard and can still return quite good economy.

I dont care. As long as they have petrol, , ( BASIC UNLEADED CAUSE WHO CARES) and Coke in a glass bottle for sale.

I also dont care about saving 4c per litre, , cause this means on average about $2 per tank.

I cant believe people with stock standard cars think that they can feel a difference between normal unleaded and the better stuff.......

Its like saying that their home made airbox, and HICLONE really makes a difference.

I like to use BP ultimate, never had any dramas, and everyone else seems to like it, but i voted for mobil, its just around the corner from my house and praticly on the way to work, and thats when i usually discover that i need petrol, plus its got the eftpos thingy so i dont have to go inside and line up...

If you provided a 'Couldn't care less' option I would have picked that.

Although it has to be 98 octane.

I fill up at United ... it's cheaper than the others ... and LPG is 100% Propane ... even better.

Territory - Caltex Fuel Card, with a Regular Unleaded only Clause. Boy did I have egg on my face the day I tried to charge $80 worth of Vortex 98 on the Fuel Card, only having to pull out the AMEX.

Mazda6 - Shell Optimax (or whatever its called). The Mrs. Shops at Coles, and the Mazda requires Premium.

Hate to be spoil sport, BUT, If you are buying Ultimate,Vortex or mobil down south, then your are all most likely using Mobil98. It all comes from the same plant.
If you are using the same up north, then it's most likely ulimate.
It's a deal done with all the oil companies.
The only one that differs (I think ) is shell.

For me, it's BP. And that's only because it's usually the cheapest. Damn country fuel stations...

The BP on Main North Rd at Smithfield, on the right hand side heading north for those of you on the northern side of Adelaide. Must be just outside the metro area so it might get some subsidies for being so. Normally a few cents per litre cheaper than the BP's less than 1km away.
