Auto version is potato DSG unfortunately.

Or Hyundai Sonata is also OK:

The 2018 model gets the 8sp torque converter auto, previous model has a 6sp torque converter auto.

They don't steer as nice as the Mondeo but its also Korean, not European so is a bit more robust.

Kia Optima GT, same engine and gearbox:

Fuel guzzlers those 2 litre turbo Koreans-13.4 listed litres per 100 km urban
Might as well get a v8.
And some of those Sonatas may be ex Police.

Default Re: Mondeo

I am 'viewing' the diesel version that started this post later today, looking only at the comfort level, seating etc for dearly beloveds sake.
poor sellers think I am interested in buying, but living so far away from other Mondeos it gives me ease to say 'yes I like this, D will also" or 'no, dont like, etc'

thanks for all the other suggestions, but it will be a Subie Forester or Mondeo petrol, 2 very different cars I know but hey, the subie because the outback has been to hell and back covered over 400k body shows that and trundles along very reliably. The Mondeo cause its a Ford, its a wagon and we like the shape,
