Exterior is ho hum. My W126 S-class looks solid like a tank. These new mercs look no different to cars coming from South Korea.

I think you will find that you believe it looks like a Korean car because many of the Korean car makers now try and replicate the Germans for styling.
There is also the fact that many of the head designers of the Korean makes are Europeans or have moved from European companies.

The first thing I though when I saw those pics was an evolution of a 10 year old fridge with a tacky body kit. The rear end especially.

The W126 is one of my favourite cars ever. It looks amazing! I grew up in the 1980s and that was the sort of car I aspired to owning. Maybe one day I'll get one.

I agree the tail lights look a bit like a Nissan. But the rest of it is very M-B, and very nice.
