the cars look good..almost futuristic or euro styles. i dunno why evry1 is happy though...is any1 gunna buy 1? if so they should get off this site. i wonder y the bf is exactly like the ba in performance excluding the xr6t....i cant believe the ss is gunna embaras the gt in performance..its got more torque and most likely less weight..that adds up for a good combination for a good 1/4 mile time. even if the gt can beat an ss it still leaves hsv to have a massive gain. in power and performance. fpv better do something quick before these ve are up fpr sale. they really should have seperated the bf and ba in the power figures

Dunno about the power/weight thing you were talking about Boss 290, from what I hear they are rather heavy (the VE), could be wrong but

GT v's SS is nothing... GT v's Clubsport is a better comparison. Clubsport will kickass, predicted 300+kw in by the look of it a very nice looking car.

Ford are going to have to bring something special out. Killing off the LWB cars is going to hurt i think, rather than making a NEW car that they can export. Like Mr. American said, there is virtually no panel the same on the Caprice v's Commodore, why cant Ford do this?!

that ssv? looks like a photoshopped picture... it looks computer animated... all the lines are worng, the grill and the badge are too big... the rest of the car from the headlights back looks alright, just needs a different front end on it... would look a bit better with a bonnet bluge typ setup, but that would have been cpoying us even more wouldt it? every design is copying someone elses design.... someone somewhere is probably claiming they designed a photoshop to look like that... like it was intentional...

I doubt that is going to happen, the BF isn't as aged as the EL was and the Orion... well what do we know about that?

I like the calias interior but the ss v really needs to get rid of that horrid coloured dash.

The steering wheel is very 380-esque

But I love the interior of the Calais.

From what i have heard, the VE is going to weigh the same if not more than the BF, so i wouldn't be too worried about the power outputs just yet. Remember for will release a BF2 in a few months as well.

Spose its not the power output that counts, its how its delivered. Are there any details on the BF2 or is it all secret still?

Just noticed the dash on the caprice is more open. It doesn't have an enclosed housing for the dials like the SWB models. Looks fantastic.

Interior looks very European, BMW like, however, i m not a fan of the coupe like rear end, needs to be a bit fuller me thinks.

Klawsterfobik - Lots of high res pics here. The steering wheel is much different and they have also got rid of that stupid mode/set button incorporating into a switchable trip/audio button, very neat idea. Blue tooth is also standard across the range, an option on omega. There is also an aux input for mp3 players. I really like this car purely for the fact it will mean ford will do something similar if not better for the final bf update. Can't wait!!

The car looks good and will no doubt sell well. Shame IE locks up whenever I try to view the video.

Good looking car. Shame they went to all that effort and they didn't hide the antenna - a base model impreza even has the aerial in the rear glass.

Calais looks very BA/F in the headlights, in fact they might just be BA/F headlights. Holden cost cutting at it's finest. lol. :

Base Model impreza also has climate control and a few other features as standard, infact, they have had them for some time now.

My god that is horny as! Very well done. I expected it to be good but this has far exceeded my expectations. Been bugging mum to get rid of the VT and get a VE lol.

Any performance figures yet, or too early?
