Previous posties have always done this procedure, why the change?
Why didnt she just open the door and get it handed to her?

By the time my wife got the alert on her phone and viewing the video after the event, the postie was long gone.

Chairman's Award: Chairman's Award - Issue reason: Your outstanding contributions to this community have not gone unnoticed. IN my view you are a worthy recipient of the (rarely used) Chairman's Award.

My 34 year old daily driver, 346K on the original bore, seems like it needs a new fuel pump. I paid $400 for this car in 2008 and think I got ripped off, it should have lasted better.

It seems I have spent the last four days picking up the slack or incompetence of others.

Mistakes made by laziness, jobs having to be done twice because the first person didn't do it properly, jobs done half ars.d to save time, or things that were asked to be done but were left for other less important jobs.

As such, the boss has paid for things to be done twice, or in other words, half productivity. But its ok, "someone else will fix it"................. me.

I was once told to do the best you can at work, because when you go on holiday they see how much they either need or don't need you.

Don't worry any good boss worth their salt can see who the good ones are.

Oh trust me, I know how that works, evidenced by the mountain of work that DIDN"T get done while I was away.

Thing is, when its a family business, certain employees get a free pass, can't upset the apple cart, so the non-family employees are the ones who get the brunt of the boss's frustrations. "Do as we say, not as we do..........."

Dude, one thing my dad taught me was employers see all. And also dont come across as a complainer, let your work ethic shine. Let the ones fall on their own sword so to speak.
At my last mob. There were a few i didnt have any time for. So when it came for them running jobs, they couldn't orginise beers in a pub. I'd get told to put my jobs on hold, which i hated as I'd have to call customers to say sorry i wont be there at the agreed time and date, just to get the inept peoples jobs back on track for a day. Typically what would happen would be i get on site with my tools and get the rundown then get into it, then mid morning or mid afternoon the boss would rock up and he and I would go for a coffee and he askes actually how is the job going. I would never talk crap on the useless bloke running the job, but just point out how far off the job is. But getting back to site, man would i cop crap from the bloke running the backwards site as i got taken out for coffee. Needless to say, this only happened on sites where the bloke running the site didnt last long because they did their own undoings. I will name only 1 name. Uncle tony, tony to tradesman, uncle to apprenti. We knew him as 4 stroke after a few months. Only as he had had 3 strokes before starting at the company but had his 4th on site. So 4 stroke.

Nah, call the prior private seller and demand a refund.

Prolly 15 years ago i knew a girl who bought a 1984 toyota camry private sale for $500 with 10 months rego on it and was infuriated that tha ac didnt work. To be fair, in my view your paying just for the rego in that case. Well, she got really upset after she called the seller being all angry and the seller said sorry sunshine.... Anything sub $1000 should have atleast 12 months rego, everything work and be in pristine condition. What is the world coming to?
