Sorry all i know this has been covered before 100 times. I have to change the cluster in my s1 xr8 and can only get a S3 one. Do i have to change any wiring to get everything working and can someone point me to the thread to show what to do. Thanks in advance.can someone point me to the thread

I made a high series cluster work in a AUII (see my build section)
but Im not sure about into a AUI

Ya seems a bit stupid to change the wiring between seriers and keep everything the same lol. Even when you look at a wiring diagram they dont say this is for s1 and this is for a s2 or 3, its all just one diagram

there are minor wiring changes between them. biggest issue is you will also need to change the oil pressure switch, as the Series 2/3 are a glorified light that doesnt actually measure oil pressure.

So i would be better off trying to get a s1 cluster than the later ones. Can you get the blue background decals. If i can get the blue decals i will take mine in and get fixed and get them put on. On mine the light has gone on the bottom display for the trip and cant read it unless the light hits it the right way lol. Couldnt imagine it would be a hard fix
