Interesting one... I must say those are the smallest turbos I've ever seen on a Falcon. With the right dollars spent it would be a neat project nonetheless.

I agree they are rather small, i would say you could only make so much power with that setup, however it is a nice car......
Cheers

I'd like to see what he gets for it. I can't imagine it having a great deal of power. And probably didn't cost a whole lot to do. I reckon that'd be a good way to make a coupel of bucks.

so there were turbos in that pic?? oh i might go have another look.

I would say the power will be made too low and he wont have anything up high with those turbos..

But hey, still be a beast to drive.

Meh i wouldnt buy that, T25's?

Thats what were fitted on early s13 slivia/180sx and even then people commonly upgraded them to the T28 as they weren't the best, and thats on 1.8l and 2.0l's yet alone a 4.0L!

Theres not really too much more room for improvemnt using those turbo's. I'd only buy it at that if you were going to keep it that way.

twin T25's on a 4.0L would be pretty fun..

there would be heaps of room for improvement...
injectors, fuel pump, front mount intercooler, and an engine management and more boost it would be a seriously fun car to have..

If I bought that I'd leave it as it is...to improve it you'd have to basically start again, new turbos, manifolds, dump pipes, piping etc....

Dougs right, not worth it unless you only wanted the power it has already or are willing to upgrade a lot of things.

I dont get why people go to so much effort to only do things in halves. :

I can't help wondering if it's a case of "let's do $1500 in mods to a $500 car and sell the result as is for $4k"...

Put in a cooler, a fuel pump, a rising rate reg, 24lb magna injectors, (all for under $1000) then turn the boost up until it can take no more.

YUP! Thats what I said. Sort of. I doubt there is even $1500 in parts. A couple of second hand turbos, some home made piping, a couple of $20 pod filters from supercheap and you're away.

I don't doubt it would work and I reckon it's be a good bit of fun. But seriously, for your money, I'd by a stock EA, add 2k worth of bits and have some fun.

Looks like a bit of fun to me. If it runs properly and makes 6-8psi then the thing will run pretty hard. Who knows how it performs but if the bloke isn't full of ИИИИ then it should have no problem eating up the quarter in the 13s. I wouldn't buy it without driving it first but i see no reason to bag it other than no cooler. Maybe he runs water/methanol injection or something. Remember an S15 revs out a bit more than the 3.9 so two of those turbos should support between 6-8psi reliably, but hey, i won't be trading my snortperformance T04 garrett and stainless tuned length manifold for it, and your right, what turbos?

yeh doesnt matter how much boost they let out, if the compressor housing is too small(by the looks of it they are :P), its gonna boost up way too early and leave it gasping up high(where it matters).

BUT, if you went and priced up that piping work, you eould be surpised how much it would cost you. So if it worked, it wouldnt be "such" a bad deal.

Snortingboost, your right though,

What would you pick between a single rottweiler Vs 2 Chiwowas ?????
