Hi all, im looking at getting a Shaker for my BA XR8...
i know you can buy the Shaker with all parts and instructions needed for home installation. Although im not sure if i want to tackle a project like this(i cant afford a new bonnet). Does anybody know of someone local who installs these? cheers! : |

: This is a big job be carefull if you use your original bonnet when they cut it the fibreglass section they use underneath wont stay attached ,after a period of time it lets go and your bonnet support sections underneath will loose rigitity, the best way i believe is to purchase fibreglass bonnet as when they fit section under bonnet the can fibreglass the two pieces together ,if done properly should last, :

intune motorsport in sydney supply & fit shakers they only work on 03 ford models on, last time I was there they were fitting twin turbo's to a cobra ute and tuning a blown xr8 to run on race fuel they do a great job ond dyno etc Klosters even ring them for advice occasionally.phone no 96807288. Personally I wouldn't get a hole in my bonet.

it must make the bonnet weeker if you cut all the supports like that but thay do look good. the only one i have seen thay had it put in by a body shop and it twist a bit when you close the hood.

Do these do much for the car? I'm getting a bluepower intake, so im guessing it would be pointless?
