Default MK2 escort front plastic grill, straight & angeled

Hi guys, Im new here on here.

I just bought a mk2 escort 77' and im restoring it, i got the 2l pinto engine out and getting that machined and new pistons rings etc.

Along with the rest of the car i am fixing/about to repray the body etc. And i have bought a brand new grill to put into my car, only to find out the one that has come off is different! It has like a 3 degree angle in the centre of the frill so its a sight V. where the one i have bought is flat.

Ive asked a few people about this and i cant find anyone who has really heard of this, let alone have one.

what is this grill from?

Any help/advise on where to get another one as the orginal one from this car is missing a few mounts and has been painted over from previsous owner with crap that will be just easier to replace.

cheers for advise in advance.

There's really only two types of '77 Escort grille.
The Standard grill and the RS2000. Got a pic?

That's correct. Being a '77 It should have a "Ford" grille. Mine did anyway.
