I agree with him, I was behind a new Focus hatch today and was almost throwing up in my mouth. But then again, no Focus has ever looked good IMO.

Focus has a few designs cues that do raise the brows, but this... I think car bra sales for this will skyrocket. It's like they put a lot of effort into making it this tacky. Complete design failure; the designers should turn themselves in for this abomination, or get another job.

Don't know about that... This used to be mine before i got my XR6T. I think it looks great. Got a lot of compliments too.

Wasn't a bad car. Did not skip a beat in the 3 years a had it from new unlike my FG XR6T. (transmission cooler milkshake being the biggest problem amongst others).

Drum brakes are better in some situations. Apparently they have a MUCH better park brake, and are better with differing loads and towing.

I do agree that it has Honda Civic/Accord Euro look to it as well as a bit of Subaru.
Are these car companies going for first prize in the ugliest car competition for 2011?
They start off with a decent looking model and then make it look absolutely woeful.

I don't think there has ever been a decent looking Camry. Every model has been bland and uninspiring.

This wouldn't have to do with load sensor adjustment on the rear brakes would it?
As I think disc brakes would be to difficult to adjust for when weight is placed in tray.
Just a thought.

That side profile is terrible, and the rear end is Subaru boring. Lower front bar is hiddeous.

I look it - though the front looks like the Hawk front bar you can get for an AU falcon. I still wouldn't buy one (says he who drives a Mitsu 380......)

The Aurion is not a bad looking car. It should be. Most of the styling was penned by one of the young Australian designers who worked on the BA XR series.
