My TDCI runs out this year and I had a look at the extended warranty offered by Byrne Ford. There is a standard and premium warranty. Covers most things but there is a $500 per item limit and it requires you to service every 5000km or 3 months, fixed price service at around $200 as they do it, but I think at that they are getting you to pay an insurance premium by dropping oil changes to 5,000km.

I would be wary about the end value of the warranty with a $500 limit it will cover only small items ( no where near a new the cost of a high pressure diesel fuel pump)and you need to watch the exclusions Its the exclusions that usually mean its not anything like the new car warranty.
