I'm in need of some sort of cheap (read: less than $2000) work hack.
I've just spotted an 84 Daihatsu Rocky within my budget but don't know a lot about them. Anything of note? PS: I did search google for some 4wd forums but there wasn't a whole lot of info. Edit: 84 not 89

Slow as a wet week, but fairly indestructable. If its a diesel your looking at, they are rattly smoky things, but will keep ticking over as long as the diesel pump is is in good nick.

Yeah, they have a good name in the 4wd community. Probably the best offering in the small 4wd market. Hard to get parts tho...
