Angry Computer virus help?

hey
thanks in advance to anyone who can help me, last night i tryed to download a key generator for a program and after installing it the 'program' disapeared so i tryed to look for it it didnt work, then i noticed when i clicked on a link off google it took me to diffrent sites most common being clickfruedmanager and also alot of redirecting. im currently running a legit copy of windows vista, and nortons 360 with latest updates. i noticed my windows firewall and secirty centre is turned off and i am unable to turn it back on. i googled about it all last night ( having to copy the UDL into the address bar) and i still found nothing to help me only afew cases witch were of no help, so if anyone could help me it would be great, and if u need anymore info just ask

thanks, kurtis

For next time - always virus scan downloaded executable files like keygens/cracks etc before you run them. Sometimes they are just viruses and you don't even get what you were after.

NEVER try to download anything such as hacks and key-gens off the net.
I just once visited one of those sites, and my browser got hi-jacked.

I just did a clean re-install of Windows and learned a lesson.

Use Torrest. Safer.
Regardless, virus and spyware scan...ALWAYS

yeh these days ya cant trust any of those sites, i had a legit key, keygenerator site i used to always go to but it went down about mid last year.

download Hijackthis.exe
Go to www.geekstogo.com
and join there forums, and make a thread with a log file made by Hijackthis.exe, and one of the guys will take you step by step in completely cleaning youre computer of any malware, adware, trojans and viruses.
