Just wondering if anyone has heard anything good about Couplertec?
http://www.couplertec.com.au/product/carsystems.html ...its an electronic rustproofing system. After reading the info on their website, it seems like it would work (in theory), and seems to be worth installing (especially on older cars). Price starts at $299 for a self fit kit. So, does anyone have one/knows of someone who has one, and do they actually work?? |

one of the guys at work has one on his commodore, but as the car itself is only about 12 months old, its hard to say if it works or not.

I suppose thats one of the things with products like rust prevention products - you only know they work after a while, unless the car is in harsh conditions (ie mines, 4x4's that do alot of beach driving). Some of the testemonials on the website seem to be very positive - even coal mine companys (that originally got 2-1/2 years out of a [new] car before it was written off) noticed a huge difference after using them...
Just thought I'd ask if anyone here has used one... |

If you notice down the coast a lot of cars have lots of rust on the brakes. Wonder if it would prevent that.

As has been mentioned alot of 4x4ers and mines/other intustries (salt production for eg.) swear by them. Definately not snake oil that's for sure. -Stu |
