What is with all these old cars that pop up on the net. It looks like they get sick of driving them and then just park them in the backyard to rust. Why don't they sell them?

Even if I had a 120Y in my backyard gathering dust, I would ring up those cash for cars guys and get me my fiddy dollars and buy a slab. Just don't get it really............

There was a thread on this a while ago, was the estate of a bloke in the states who had a bunch of car yards, and the cars accumulated in his lot over the years, he died and now the family are scraping all the cars. Interesting thread if you can find it.

Maybe here, not sure if it's the left or right side?

Where the 3078 number is, is the property.

So 3078 is the same place as 3098?

Can you zoom in more, or use Street view or TerraServer or something.
It wood be cool to see if we can actually see some cars.

I'm still on ancient dial-up, so it's pretty hard for me to do it LOL!

OK,try here. It's way too green to be sure, you need a shot from google to be taken in the Fall. (October-November).
It was taken just prior to fall, so it's a bugger.

Could be on the right track, but I believe that the property has maybe a couple of hundred cars, not just the few I posted.
I'll see if I can find out more.

Not so much coupes as 2-door sedans, which were the cheapest model in the range. Quite interesting what happens in the right environment if you don't touch a car for 30-40 years.
