Late seventies early eighties movie called Hot Rod. It's like footloose for drag racers.

The star; a 41 Willy's coupe with 426 Hemi...

Running on empty.

Mike has to race fox (drives a sixpac bigblock challanger!) to win out of 3 races a chickybabe called julie (Deborah Conway), and to win his way into the aces club.

Fox plays dirty, and mike looses and goes bush in his GT (ment to be a HO), only to race some hillbillies in their FC, who don't like that so they attack the GT with axes and burn it. MIke finds some blind dude (Rebel) who races around in a blowen '57 who in the space of a rocksong builds up a new GT out of parts lying around the countryside, (natural resorces!) and adds nitrous . Mike goes and races that, but hits a truck and chops the roof off the falcon...

...Mike goes and sees rebel who gives hime the 57 to go and...

NO MORE SPOILERS

This is from the movie called "The Car"!!! Another possessed car going around killing people. A far fetched movie but not a bad watch!! Havent seen it on DVD though...I remember seeing it a few times after midnight on TV years ago.

It looks like when Bender from futurama turns into a were-car(as in werewolf :P)

the original car was built from the most evil parts of all the most evil peoples cars... AND IT WAS ELECTRIC!!

It was an XA coupe that was in Two Hands not an XB. I believe Merrick owes it now - there was an article in street machine awhile back.
