Saw it last night in Gold Class.

Great movie to watch in recliners while drinking Johnny Black & Coke and eating nachos.

I don't know what so great about this movie. Watched half and had to stop for a bit as i couldn't keep up the interest, the start seemed to drag on for ages. Then the second half wasn't much more interesting. The guy who had swords for hands was what like 10 seconds of the movie. If id seen it at the cinemas I think I would of left.

Sorry if iv offended anyone but I felt the movie was a bit out there.

I just got back from the cinemas.

Awesome movie, and blood thirsty,

One of the best I've seen, in a longtime.

I liked the monsters in it too, and I'm not usually into that kind of stuff.

300 for me was a fantastic movie. But probably not for the reasons many cite.

For me 300 was a thing of beauty, of perfection. The scenery floats by as if its a character in the movie itself. This isnt really a movie to me. Its more of a constable portrait with occasional movement in the foreground.

The fight scenes also portray a deadly bloody beauty, a perfection of stance and movement in inflicting death.

Its a piece of art.

I saw it last night. I was actually a bit disappointed in a way, the movie was fantastic, especially the first big battle against the persians.

The amount of CGI in the background looked too fake, even the birds were fake, it looked like a fiery volcano or bushfire was lighting everywhere red. Lord of the Rings or Braveheart seemed for me to have better scenery when filming at a location closely resembling the story location. The use of the big monster type creatures I thought was a bit much too for a movie based on an actual battle.

But the rest of the movie, I loved, the fight scenes and the way it was narrated by David Wenham was great. It seems as though there should be a sequal too, after you see what happens at the end

Actually half the time the ripped guys in the movie, looked like they were wearing bodysuits or something.

I saw it with a friend last week and thought it was pretty good. She loved the visuals, even if the lack of any kind of historical accuracy bothered her (she's studying history at uni).
I was expecting it to be really gorey, but I didn't think it was that bad.
I laughed at a few parts.

My only disapointment was that I watched it on dvd rather than seeing it at the cinema :(

It was an absolute sweet movie though, I can see why people might not be into it but for me it was the right movie
