The one i see of the gold coast is over a year old as the factory that i work in is a year old and it does not even show on the image.

Or not, they took new photos :( Bugger. Can't find my car anywhere now, it's usually only parked in 3 places. Oh well

some of the photos are years old.

i work near blacktown and found the building. the photo is fairly hi-res but the shot is 2 years old. can tell due to the configurations of the sheds in the rear yard.

The ones where I am were updated, but they now have gone backwards...

The old sheds at work are still standing... and I think my old EA is parked on the nature strip...

Found my old corolla parked outside my house. I would laugh if they took the picture when one of us was getting out/in of our cars. Or even funnier if it got someone in the middle of a burnout.

The pay version is not real time. I seriously doubt for a measly 100 bucks or whatever it costs you could task a satellite to keep an eye on your driveway in case your car moves.

They are thousands of images taken by satellites over a period of years stitched together to form the earth.

I looked for mine...at work there were cars there just it wouldn't zoom in close enough. Whereas when you look at heathrow airport you can get in as close as 100ft off the ground.

last time i looked at my place on the sunny coast ( about 6 months ago )the house next door was just building their pool in back yard. pool would be about 4 years old now.
at my old shop in maroochydore the pic must have been taken on a sunday because there was not a car in any of the carparks or streets, normally all busy.

haven`t looked for a while because i`m stuck with slow dialup for now. takes tooo long to load up.

At work we just got new 5cm Aerometrix satillite imagery.

So you can pretty much zoom in so far you can see hydrant markers on the road. I could even see the reflection of the sun in the windscreen of my car parked at home.
