For those that may not be aware, this will be being released direct to DVD / Blu Ray, early in the new year(Jan 18).
This is set in the not tooo distant future, as a prequel to the original, and would appear to be more of the same. Cast looks to include a number of familiar faces from the original(including the cars). Will have to wait & see how good it is when the time comes, but with no Jason Statham, hopefully the on screen action can carry it. Teaser trailer HERE |

Pain to pause before it blew up haha. Does look quite a lot like it, particularly the door handles and line.

look at the mirrors, the handles, the line that goes from the front guard to the rear quarter panel, where the brake lights are (how the ef/el montys are) edit: question is, where the bloody hell is this filmed?

All filmed in South Africa - thats why the fairmonts were available
Watched it last week from torrent download - original is better for the cars, sometimes they try and let a storyline get in the way of an action film. |

I wasn't sold on this movie, calling in 2 when it's a prequel, little odd. Would have made much more sense if it was done first. Some good ideas, but some incredibly poora acting. I was disappointed. :-(
