Default Spotted in Perth (FG FPV with expensive number plate)

Spotted at Belmont Forum, I wonder what these would be worth?

It would be worth a fair bit I'd imagine. Would look better with black background and white/silver font though.

couple thousand minimum? That's a plate we all want I'd imagine and something I'd display happily if it didn't cost me a house deposit.

Hmmm that look like it badge as GT-P as all the lettering are red while the GT-E badge had Red GT lettering while the E is Chrome. So this may be a GT-P with a bootlid spoiler from the GTE.

Got a feeling one of Perth car yard own this car!

yeh i noticed it said GTP too which confused me a little..

it's also a bit ironic that they have the plate "FORD" on a car that has gone out of its way to not really be recognised as one (FPV badges instead of Ford on FG FPV's) but either way it's quite a plate to have.

I think my mates (on here too) dads plate would be worth more victorian ones just with GT on them.

i really don't understand why people would spend so much on a number plate. Fair enough spend on the car, but plates? Anything more than a few hundred is a rip in my opinion.

In Canberra, Vehicle makes are $4,068

Also we don't pay an annual fee to keep the plates like some states do.

In Victoria the plates "FORD" are on a very nice traditional style, black, 32 roadster hotrod. A very worthy car.

Agree 100%... plates are only there to help the authorities identify the car, why spend money making it easier for people to identify you...?

Those would be very expensive plates, if you look in a unique cars mag there are lots of plates like that for sale, some people wanting thousands and thousands for certain ones! :

The picture is very deceiving.

Remember the 'E' badge is not the same style, shape or size as the GT ot GTP badges. (has already been pointed out, I know)
It is spaced away from the GT part of the badge too, the 'P' in GTP would sit much closer.

McInerny Ford's window sticker is black, the one on that car looks blue. They also have McInerny Ford number plate surrounds so I would have thought Dennis would want to advertise his place.
