In terms of reliability what would you pick and why? A 1.6 ford fiesta or a 1.5 toyota yaris?

do either have more than one piston ???
sorry now to pick do we have a reason or need to single one out from these two ? might help to clinch the desision ( just a bit more info on the situation )

yes still (as money n time permit) doing the rebuilding the zh fairlane with a clevo 400m 4v heads injected whipple blown with aode 4 speed trans to a 9" ....... we'll get there eventually just remember don't be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the Ark...Professionals built the Titanic! I have taken up meditation... at least it's better than sitting around doing nothing !! |

I am looking at buying my first new car and dad is totally against me buying a 4 cylinder, cos I quote "they are all unreliable and weak"- yes his strictly a back wheel drive falcon head, therefore I have turned to this for advice. I really don't want an Asian import like a Getz or Barina, there for the leaves me with a Yaris or a Fiesta that is in my price range. I really like the looks of both. I have heard that toyota is the best in small car reliability, but I also have had heard good reviews on the Fiesta.

have heard good things about the toyota yaris from a few around with thing i get in to
havent heard to much bout the fiesta so far but if you can use the same motor as the festiva i got a few spares + g/boxs that ill prob put in the next crusher
