Hi guys
I'm a bit lost in the world of batteries and I need some advice. I bought a nice new starter motor from the local auto electrician and he said I need a battery with about 500cca power. I have to cram this battery into a tight space in the boot so I found one which is 490. Do you think this would be OK? My alternative if I need more is to link two smaller batteries to get enough cca. But this is more than twice the cost due to the extra hardware. I am planning to run a few extra electrical things in this car but nothing crazy. A decent stereo (no silly subwoofer or anything) and some power accessories. Power windows are likely. Thoughts?
