Default 250 Crossflow shedding flexplate

Hi guys,

Just signed upto this site and there's some good info & people here.
I have a 250 crossflow in my TD cortina that i have just finnished installing a cam, ignition and a few other bits and pieces into.

i've taken it for a few straps around the block and i'm pretty happy with the motor. however i have a problem with the flexplate comeing loose from the crank when i'm in the high rpm bracket.
i have put on a new harmonic balancer on, torqured up the flex plate bolts and gave it a drive, and about 10 k's later...loose.

i took the BW35 trans off, took out the bolts, cleaned them and the threads in the crank, primed+loctite re-torqued and tried again......
quick drive later all is good, untill i gave it a hard punch and as soon as she got high in the revs, loose again.

got new bolts, strongest loctite available and used retaining compound behind the flexplate, loose again after a drive.

anyone else had this problem and more importantly to me.....found a soloution?
