A UK man has been banned from driving after he was caught behind the wheel of a pink toy Barbie car while drunk.
Paul Hutton, 40, was busted by police driving the toy car, with a maximum speed of 6km/h, along a road in Essex in eastern England, the Colchester Gazette reported. The former aeronautics engineer modified the toy car with his 17-year-old son so that it ran on 12-volt batteries and then set out to drive to a friend's house to show off the results. Along the way he was pulled over by police are found over the limit, prompting a three-year driving ban. "You have to be a contortionist to get in, and then you can't get out," Mr Hutton said after the hearing. "I was very surprised to get done for drink-driving but I was a twit to say the least." Mr Hutton said he wasn't unhappy with the punishment but surprised by it.
