Default List of Engine Weights and Dimensions

I was recently reading the article on the new Ford "Coyote" motor in 5.0 Mustang and Superfords Mag and noticed with interest that the "shipping" weight including water pump claimed for the motor was 430lbs (195kg) so I was wondering how that measured up to other motors that it will be compared to so I did a bit of "googling" and found a list that would be a good guide Engine Weight/Size FYI version 06.02.18 by Dave Williams .

The Coyote appears to be amongst the lightest of the bunch (so many variables in weighing an engine) and considering it's HP and fuel economy potential looks like it could help produce a great performing car

The guide is in imperial so you may need this Handy Car Calculator for weight, etc conversion

Not sure how accurate these weights are but should be ok for a rough guide
Coyote 195kg
LS1 208kg
4.6 (DOHC) 242kg ... would this be a similar weight to the Aussie motors?
Windsor 208kg
Cleveland 250kg
