I want to get a ute from Redcliffe to Mount Isa, preferably I'm looking for an enclosed transporter. Anyone recommend a company that could faciliate such a move??

Not many that I know of. I know some general carriers who top load cars.
But thats not for everyone!
Best to try a national carrier like Toll or TNT, and hope they'll stop on their way through.
Or talk to a local car dealer, and find out who they use. They might cut you a deal too.

Ok so who gave this thread 5 star rating.........

(sorry to be off topic)

I've used TNT before and they were good. Not sensational - but car wasnt damaged. Covered carriage which you are after.

Vip do transport and pick up etc I have used them before a few times and they were very good .From memory they use tnt to ship the cars and they are enclosed only problem being they are becoming a bit expensive but then again what isn't at the moment

I used some company in QLD to get it from there to south coast nsw, $700, did a good job, i think it was called Car Carriers, pretty average name.

No worries thanks, I don't mind paying a bit more for good service, my little brothers XB Hardtop arrived here on TNT in top condition, albeit for a leaking transmission. No real concern for us but for the poor bastard below us with 1/2 litre of tranny fluid on his bonnet it may have been a problem.

hey mate.

i have just brought a coupe up from melbourne.

i used SPEEDY CAR CARRIERS.

i rang 11 companies and got quotes.

They were the second cheapest at $740 including gst and insurance up to $60,000, and they quoted 2 days from melbourne to brisbane.

it will be there tomorrow lunch

yeah speedy are good.

i have heard bad things about TNT and they were pricey.
