Default never again

Attended the Mustang show in Dandenong today with the old man who has been going to these things for about 20 years.
Come back to the car after looking around and some pr.... has pinched 2 wheel caps off the car.
To say he was pi.... is a huge uderstatement.
Why do people do this?
If they want a friggin wheel cap, get one through the normal channels.
Vowed he will never take the car again to the show.
Will have to keep an eye on ebay, or do you think it was just a souvenir for some wannabe.
Things that happen when you dont have a shotgun as my grandfather used to say!!!

I assume your old man had a Mustang participating in the show? How did somebody pinch some caps of it? Must have been a brazen sod!!

I was there myself and couldn't imagine somebody actually getting away with it with all those people around.

Speaking of which one of my centercaps went missing the other day when i parked my XB at autobarn in frankston, got home and realised one of the caps were missing but it was there before i went out...

Dont know if someone stole it or if it fell off going around a corner, but i doubt it..

its a centerline autodrag wheel cap, anyone know where i can buy just one from?

ciao,
Ren

That just absolutly sucks!!!

I can't believe that someone would do it at a show like that were everyone gos to admire and look at the cars.

If they wanted to steal it do it in a carpark or something but a car show thats LOW or a tight resto job!

what a disgrace. there is a lot of time, effort and moey that goes into building a car and to have someone nick anything off it would be heartbreaking.

Absolutely disgraceful. Most people who go to car shows go to appreciate all the time, money, and effort that go into every car there. So to pinch someone else's parts is absolutely disgusting behaviour. Sorry to hear

Must be a fad. I had my son's uninsured car parked behind my factory and someone broke into the compound at night, stole the caps and used them to coin every panel, the hood and the turret. I think the subsequent $4000 bill I have to pay was a bit unfair considering they got the caps and didn't get to shoot them.
