Default Hooning with easily recognisable number plates

What is it with some people (presumably with a lot of dollars) and their propensity to prove to the public that they are STUPID + the bad image they bring to well know companies.

Witnessed on the weekend, a black C class AMG, several times, repeated massive speeding in a 70 zone, number plate *****

What an idiot!

He could be the last real estate available on the planet but based on his driving behaviour, I wouldn't let the jerk anywhere near my properties.

Would love to ring the real estate office and clarify the situation (if you know what I mean). Someone should know the car/driver and where they work, would be worthwhile having them explain their actions.

Test driving after the Realtor hit it big and traded up to an E63.

Are you serious?

Why stop there, ring every trucking, taxis and delivery company, plumper, builder and company car that has signage when you see them break the law as well.

That’s what we have Police for, there is no need to flood the nation with wowser vigilantes?

Be aware, what you see as wrong someone else can accept, what you accept as ok, someone else sees as wrong. That's how vigilantes work.

Does not even work for a real estate agent, but the plates represent the guy’s name.

Could be the owner of the company and does not care what you think.

How do you no they were speeding, did you have a radar?

There is nothing to be enthusiastic about the jerks driving.

If you want to race/speed, then go to the track not a public road.

You'd think some people should know better with their comments, obviously not!

I don't race or speed if your referring to me. And I would know better than to advertise a blokes numberplate on the World Wide Web.
Why not buy some party lights and pull him over next time. Just saying.

Here is a thought, maybe he could just not speed?

I personally got no problem with people driving fast as long as it is controlled, and not inappropriate speed in school zone, in suburbia with kids around, near pubs/built up areas with pedestrians.

If it is along a big/appropriately structured road, with no risk to other road users/people, it is no ones problem but a problem as between the driver and the little blue men tax collectors...IMO

I often see people behaving badly on and off the road but not for one minute do I believe it’s the job of the general public to get involved.

For those that do, they should travel a bit and see how tough it is to live in some parts of the world where you can be killed for not falling into line with someone else’s standards or life choices.

If you are so upset by the actions of others then contact the authorities as that’s what they are there for.

Since I moved back to Australia I’ve said time and time again I cannot believe how much Aussies are legislated against because of a small minority.

We are basically treated as children who can’t make common sense decision or are hammered every time we step a bit out of line and complain about it but never stand up to the politicians to do something to effect change or put a stop to further restricting laws.

Aussies just complain then accept and pay the price.

If we start adding public policing and chastising to the mix we are starting down the road of those countries where oppression dominates.

Most of us aren’t saints so why act like we are and instead offer those around us some slack.

If the person seen acting erratically as the OP has outlined is having a very bad day or just doesn’t give a toss then maybe a trained profession should intervene or comment, not someone who thinks they are perfect, they’re the ones who are left wondering why they ended up wearing a bread knife as a neck tie.

I agree with you about minorities having to much say, but are you saying in the rest of your post that if someone does something about idiot behaviour, they deserve to be stabbed?

Think you & the others here are overreacting to Cheaps comment in his 1st post, every one should be taking a chill pill.

FFS people are entitled to make a comment without others going off half cocked.

This part disturbs me greatly, If I think their actions can lead to a serious road accident I would not hesitate to put these halfwits into the police after all it could be my family or myself who could be another road statistic.

But on topic. Yes he may well have been speeding, and generally being a lout. Why do you feel the need to advertise it? Chances are, if he drives like that all the time, he is going to get done. By a speed camera, unmarked, or highway patrol. His time will come.

I got cut off by a plumbers van years ago the Western Ring Road, his mobile number was the rear, so,I rang him and gave him a spray

Similar thing happened to me. Halfwit in a photography van was driving like an idiot harassing an old bloke who was going a bit slow. Firstly tailgating him, then overtook him and started brake checking the old guy. As I passed this photo van I Looked across and shook my head. He didn't like that started going off at me, tried to run me off the road.
Late that evening decided to give him a call and tell him what I thought of him.

I have to question how you know the car war speeding. I often accelerate normally with no wheel spin in my daily and get people giving me bad looks. In my Windsor powered vehicle I can be doing 20km/h and open the throttle slightly and people turn with angry looks. Just because everyone else drives like a sick slug doesn't mean he has to.

@cheap, what is the difference between a custom plate and a regular plate? Most of us have just enough brain cells to recall either if the situation is called for.

Either way, you've got an issue because of the vehicle. Bit like listening to people tell stories and they feel compelled to tell us the race of the offending person, like it justifies their position.

I've had signwriting on my loud, low, quick and distinctive GS for 4+ years. I've carved plenty of people up on the freeway sitting in the right lane going slow. Never had one irate complaint lodged, not that'd I'd care.

^^^^ That's an ideal situation and you'll never get that on Sydney's roads.

We've had so many cars running off the roads here and ending up in peoples living rooms it's not funny. The problem with driving fast, or "inappropriately" fast is that the situation can escalate very quickly.

My wife has recently started work and it involves shift work. On occasion I've driven her to and from work; this takes me on to the Woodville Road from the M4 exit at Parramatta. The driving I've seen on this road is horrendous; most aggressive are P platers but the worst I've seen was a black C63. It's also been modded, I don't think it was the vehicle mentioned in the opening post though.
