My LPG system is playing up but luckily the car is still running on petrol.
The petrol tank only holds 30litres max because it was cut in half to fit the lpg tank in (its a wagon). I filled up the other day with 25 litres of United E10 (95ron) and I only got 200k's before needing to fill up again today, another 24 litres. Wots the formula again for working out litres per 100k's??? |

200 div by 24 = 8.33 Klm per litre or 100 div by 8.33 = 12.0 Lt per 100 Klm.

Logic says that 24litres in 200ks is 12L/100 k's
But I usually use the calculator on my phone.

Not sure about using Ethanol fuels in an old beaten up XR6 wagon either. Will try a different brand of 95 ron after todays tank full. |

Got my LPG system fixed today so i'm back using the best fuel of them all........ LPG.
450k's/70 litres = 15.5 litres/100. Not too bad for a beaten up up old XR6 wagon! Last edited by GASWAGON; 28-10-2014 at 07:53 PM. |

Using a plain old calculator......
200km using 24 litres, calculation is: (24 divided by 200) x 100 = 12L/100km Another example.... 597km using 59 litres, calculation is: (59 divided by 597) x 100 = 9.88L/100km Alternatively, I have tried a few free android apps and have found this one to be pretty good: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...alculator.free

It's pretty simple: Litres divided by (kms/100)
