YOu do realise Letterman and tonto were around long before Vizard, who copied his entire program, set skits and mannerisms from Letterman.

but I dont like Letterman, and I didnt like Vizard. Bring back Clive Robertson doing late night news talk show.

Paul Schaeffer is terrible.

He tries to add to Letterman's statements but what he says is ridiculously stupid and a waste of time. I would be more entertained if an orangutan was the leader of the band. We might get some insightful comment, and maybe see a hint of talent.

Letterman is ok in his own way. Sure, his show doesn't contain much intelligence or true wit, but it's entertaining in its own way...a lot like The Footy Show (AFL) which beyond the first hour, is hardly different to Big Brother...tryhards trying to be funny/entertaining, completely unaware that the educated are pointing their fingers and laughing in pity.

Footy Classified...now there's a show with substance. Doesn't beat Talking Footy though.

I once read that Paul Schaeffer was supposed to be in the original Blues Brothers with the rest of the band celebrities but due to contractual obligations he was replaced. All I can say is thank God! He's only the bloody musical director but the way he behaves trying to hog air time you'd think he was so much more.

Thats the only thing that annoys me about him. Got no problem with Letterman though.
